Florida · Employers hiring one role or a team

Fewer candidates,
better ones.

Twenty CVs that nobody screened isn't a shortlist, it's homework. A good brief and real screening produce three people worth interviewing, which is all most roles need.

How we work

A Florida company, and not your employment lawyer

AS Professional LLC is a limited liability company registered in the State of Florida, with registration details on public record with the Florida Division of Corporations.

We are not a law firm and give no employment law advice — classification, termination, immigration and discrimination questions belong with an employment attorney. Background checks are carried out by third-party providers with candidate consent under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and state law, and every hiring decision is yours.

Frequently asked

The questions we get most

How are your fees charged?

Stated in writing before any work starts — typically a percentage for direct hire or an hourly rate for temporary cover, with any guarantee period spelled out.

Do you guarantee a placement will stay?

No one honestly can. We state a guarantee period in writing and stand behind it, which is a different and more meaningful thing.

Can you advise on firing someone?

No. That's employment law and belongs with an attorney. We can help with role clarity and performance expectations, which often prevents getting there.

Who employs a temporary worker?

It depends on the arrangement, and we state it in writing before anyone starts. It's the question most worth asking any staffing firm.

Do you run background checks?

Through third-party providers, with candidate consent and in line with the Fair Credit Reporting Act and state law.

How many candidates will we see?

Usually three or four screened properly, rather than twenty forwarded. If we can't find them, we'll say so rather than pad the list.

Got a role to fill?

A free consultation on the role and what's realistic. No obligation.
